For US citizens and resident aliens residing overseas the due date for tax filing is fast approaching.
If you were living outside of the United States and Puerto Rico at April 15, and your main place of business or post of duty was outside the United States and Puerto Rico, you may have been allowed an automatic 2-month extension of time to file your return to June 17.
There is still time to prepare your taxes and/or file an extension in relation to your 2012 tax return before the deadline of June 17.
