Yorkshire Dealmaker Awards 2023
It was truly a privilege to once again be invited to attend the Yorkshire Dealmaker Awards last night at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. As ever, it was a mammoth event with almost a thousand people in attendance all of whom are involved in one way or another across Corporate Finance in Yorkshire.
As the name suggests, these annual awards are aimed at recognising those who have played an important role in making deals happen across our region and beyond. It represents an opportunity for our Leeds Corporate Tax team to meet up with the people across the sector that we work closely with and see them and their businesses rewarded for their efforts.
We’d like to add our own congratulations to all those individuals and firms who picked up well deserved awards. Particularly to Dan Smith (Dealmaker of the Year), Ian Marwood (Lifetime Achievement Award) and Ben Taylor (Emerging Dealmaker of the Year). All three gave huge thanks to their respective colleagues and the talented teams around them and made it clear that without their support, they simply wouldn’t be there.
We are equally fortunate to have a fantastic and energetic team here at TAP and we are similarly grateful for all their efforts in making us the Corporate Tax team of choice, for so many.
