HMRC has reminded self-assessment taxpayers to ensure they have the correct information in order to complete their 2020/21 tax return, with the October 31 deadline for submission of paper forms getting closer.
It’s important to note this deadline only applies to paper filed tax returns, which make up a small amount of the tax return submissions the UK tax authorities receive.
It is still possible to file tax returns online right up until 31st January however. So, If you are concerned that you won’t be able to file by the 31st October deadline and would like professional assistance with completing and submitting your tax return to HMRC then please contact us to discuss further.
