The fast growing Tax Advisory Partnership has made a hat-trick of announcements in the space of less than a week.
TAP, which has just celebrated its third anniversary in London, has opened its second office, based at Thorpe Park, near Leeds. This coincides with the appointment of Paul Spenceley as Tax Consultant, specialising in advising companies on all aspects of employment taxes. Paul spent 25 years at Deloitte before joining his former colleagues at TAP.
Russ Cahill, Partner in charge of the Leeds office, commented “We already undertake a significant amount of work for the Yorkshire business community, and our new office will help us grow these services. There is a real appetite for commercial tax advice, delivered by experienced professionals and this is no better demonstrated by our client base, which ranges from local family owned businesses to £1 billion turnover global groups. It is an exciting time for TAP, as we look to recruit motivated managers in Leeds and London and expand to new locations.”
TAP provides UK tax compliance and advisory services to private individuals, partnerships and companies. It also advises on the tax implications of corporate finance transactions for shareholders and companies.
Last year, TAP established a new practice to advise US nationals based in the UK, providing an integrated offering dealing with both their US and UK tax affairs. This is headed up by Tameron McDougall and has been hugely successful from a standing start a little over 12 months ago. TAP has also announced this week that in recognition of this stellar success, Tameron will be promoted to partner with effect from 1 April.
